Staunch Machinery manufacture generating sets and other associated machinery at their facility in Saida, Lebanon to the highest international standards. Genset engines from Lister Petter, FPT, Perkins and Yanmar are used - driving alternators from Stamford, Meccalte, Leroy Somer and their cost effective Staunch brand. Control panels are by Deep Sea with standard options including DSE 3110, 6110, 7320 and 8610.


Staunch canopies feature rust resistant zirconium phosphate treated steel – 2mm steel is used for the canopy and 3mm for the base (thicker steel used above 60kVA). Finish is a tough ripple effect powder coat for superior scratch resistance. Base fuel tank options are able up to 1000L - all with digital fuel sensors and reinforced forklift pockets. The canopies have no external assembly bolts, or exposed seams further limiting the opportunity for corrosion and increasing long term durability.


All Staunch gensets comply with international design standards ISO8528 (GB/T2820-97), ISO3046, EN60034, BS5000, IEC34-1, VDE0530, NEMA MG1-23, GB755, CSA22-2, AS1359 as well as the requirements of ISO9001, CE and TUV quality and safety management standards.


Ratings offered are calculated at an ambient temperature of 40°C and an altitude of 1000m making them ideal for the environment found in the South Pacific. Of special note are the Aphonia range of super silent gensets that have a noise rating of 60dBA @ 1m, the telecommunication product which includes telecom spec gensets and hybrid generator battery systems and the combination of the Perkins and Leroy Somer package that allows for a direct comparison with FG Wilson – but with a higher grade canopy (no plastic) and a robust and user friendly Deep Sea control panel.

The product not actually manufactured by Staunch has undergone their own field testing and from these results is built to their design specification and standards.
